Tyler is a United States Army veteran and obtained a degree in Arabic from the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center and an advanced certificate from the Qalam wa Lawh Center for Arabic Studies in Rabat, Morocco. After being honorably discharged from the Army, he began working for the largest family law firm in Monterey County and earned his J.D. from the Monterey College of Law in 2020. Tyler became a provisionally licensed lawyer on February 5, 2021 and has worked as an associate since.
