Sarah C. Stull
Senior Associate Attorney
Sarah has exclusively practiced family law in the Bay Area since her admission to the California Bar in 2019. Her work has touched on all aspects of family law, including representing clients with estates comprised of high value and unique assets, litigating complex legal and factual issues in property division and support matters, and resolving conflict-heavy child custody and visitation issues. Sarah enjoys the interplay of various areas of law within family law and the meaningful impact resolving those issues has on her clients.
Community connectedness and service has always been important to Sarah, leading her to assist underserved communities at the San Francisco Public Defender’s Office, Public Defender’s Service for the District of Columbia, Jewish Family and Children’s Services in San Francisco, and Latino Preparatory Academy in San Jose.
With Sarah’s background and commitment to assisting her community, her goal is to arrive at a cost-effective resolution and present solutions through settlement and alternative dispute resolution whenever possible. Where Court involvement becomes necessary, Sarah provides fierce written and oral advocacy for her clients to advance their interests.
Sarah was raised in Marin County and earned her a B.S. in Criminology, Law, and Society with a minor in Criminal Justice and Recidivism from George Mason University. Sarah pursued her passion for working in the legal community and in May 2019, earned her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law where she received the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence in Alternative Dispute Resolution.
Prior to joining Foster Hsu, LLP, Sarah worked as a judicial intern at the Family Justice Center of the Santa Clara Superior Court, at the Katherine George & Alexander Community Law Center Workers’ Rights Clinic, and at the largest family law firm in Northern California from 2018 to 2024. Sarah joined Foster Hsu, LLP as a Senior Associate Attorney in May 2024.
